Public Transport - U-Bahn

To reach Alter Elbpark, take the U-Bahn (subway) line U3 towards 'Barmbek'. Get off at 'Landungsbrücken' station. Once you exit the station, head towards the waterfront and follow the signs that guide you to the parks along the Elbe River. Alter Elbpark is located at Helgoländer Allee, which is a short 5-minute walk from the Landungsbrücken.

Public Transport - Bus

From Hamburg Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), take bus number 37 towards 'Bergedorf'. Get off at the 'Bishop's Island' (Bischofskamp) stop. From there, walk about 10 minutes towards the waterfront, then follow the path along the Elbe River to reach Alter Elbpark at Helgoländer Allee.

Walking

If you are staying in the city center, you can walk to Alter Elbpark. Start at the Rathaus (Town Hall) and head towards the city hall square, then continue straight down the 'Alter Wall' street until you reach the Elbe River. Turn left and walk along the riverbank. After about 20 minutes, you will arrive at Alter Elbpark located on Helgoländer Allee.

Ferry

Catch the ferry from 'Landungsbrücken' to 'Finkenwerder'. Enjoy the scenic view and then get off at the 'Dockland' stop. From there, take a short 5-minute walk towards Helgoländer Allee where Alter Elbpark is located.
