Public Transport
From Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), take the S-Bahn line S1 towards Wedel. Stay on the train for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Blankenese' station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the bus stop and take bus number 188 towards 'Rissen'. After around 10 minutes, get off at the 'Rissener Ufer' stop. From there, it is a short walk of about 5 minutes to Elbstrand Wittenbergen. Head down Rissener Ufer street until you reach the beach area.

Ferry
From Hamburg Landungsbrücken, take the ferry line 62 towards Finkenwerder. Enjoy the scenic ride for about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Blankenese' stop. From there, walk to the 'Blankenese' S-Bahn station and follow the previous public transport directions or take bus number 188 towards 'Rissen' to reach 'Rissener Ufer', which is the closest stop to Elbstrand Wittenbergen.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike and start from the city center. Head towards the Elbe river, following the bike paths along the waterfront. Continue along the river until you reach Blankenese. From Blankenese, follow the signs to Rissener Ufer. The total distance is approximately 10 kilometers and will take you about 40 minutes, depending on your pace. Once you arrive at Rissener Ufer, follow the road to access Elbstrand Wittenbergen.

If you are already in the Blankenese area, you can walk to Elbstrand Wittenbergen. From the Blankenese S-Bahn station, head down to the river and follow the path along the Elbe. The walk will take around 30 minutes and offers beautiful views of the river and surrounding areas. Make your way to Rissener Ufer and continue until you reach the beach.
