Public Transport
To reach the Jan-Fedder-Promenade in Hamburg, start at Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (the main train station). From there, take the S-Bahn line S21 towards Elbgaustraße or S31 towards Altona. Get off at the station called 'Hammerbrook'. Once you exit the station, head south on Hammerbrookstraße, then turn right onto Wendenstraße. Continue straight until you reach the confluence of the Elbe River, where the Jan-Fedder-Promenade is located. It should take around 15 minutes on foot from the station.

If you are near the city center, you can walk to the Jan-Fedder-Promenade. Start at the Rathaus (City Hall). Walk east on Rathausmarkt towards the Mönckebergstraße. Continue straight until you reach the Hamburg City Hall and head towards the Alster lakes. Follow the path along the Alster until it merges into the Elbe River. The promenade is along the river, making for a pleasant walk. It should take approximately 30 minutes.

From Hamburg Hauptbahnhof, you can take bus number 112 towards 'HafenCity Universität'. Get off at the stop 'Elbphilharmonie'.
