    If you are starting from Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), take the U-Bahn (subway) line U2 towards Niendorf Nord. Get off at the stop 'Jungfernstieg' (about 2 stops). From Jungfernstieg station, exit and head towards the Alster lake. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will come to Rathausmarkt, which is located just beside the Hamburg City Hall.
