From Hamburg's central station (Hauptbahnhof), walk to the nearby bus stop 'Hauptbahnhof/ZOB'. Take bus number 112 towards 'Moorweide'. After 5 stops, get off at 'St. Pauli, U-Bahnhof'. From the bus stop, walk towards the river and then follow the signs pointing to St. Michael's Church. It's a brief walk and you will see the church's tower from a distance.

Head towards the western end of Speicherstadt and walk along the Zollkanal until you reach the Elbphilharmonie.
