    Public Transport - U-Bahn

    If you are starting from Hamburg's central station (Hauptbahnhof), head to the U-Bahn (subway) station located beneath the main train station. Take the U3 line towards 'Barmbek'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Landungsbrücken'. Once you arrive at Landungsbrücken, exit the station and walk towards the Elbe River. From there, head east on the promenade until you reach the St. Michael's Church (Engl. Planke 1). It will be just a short walk away.

    Public Transport - Bus

    From Hamburg's central station (Hauptbahnhof), walk to the nearby bus stop 'Hauptbahnhof/ZOB'. Take bus number 112 towards 'Moorweide'. After 5 stops, get off at 'St. Pauli, U-Bahnhof'. From the bus stop, walk towards the river and then follow the signs pointing to St. Michael's Church. It's a brief walk and you will see the church's tower from a distance.

    If you are near the historic area of Speicherstadt, you can walk to St. Michael's Church. Head towards the western end of Speicherstadt and walk along the Zollkanal until you reach the Elbphilharmonie. From there, walk south along the promenade for about 15 minutes until you reach the church, located at Engl. Planke 1. The walk is scenic and you will get great views of the waterfront.
