Walking
From any point in HafenCity, head towards the waterfront where the Elbe river is located. Look for the prominent red-brick buildings characteristic of Speicherstadt. Follow the walking paths along the river, which will lead you directly to Speicherstadt. Specifically, if you are at the Elbphilharmonie, walk along the 'Platz der Deutschen Einheit' towards 'Am Sandtorkai'. You will reach Speicherstadt in approximately 10-15 minutes.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer to take public transport, find the nearest bus stop in HafenCity. You can take the bus line 111 towards 'Altona'. Get off at the stop 'Sandtorpark'. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to Speicherstadt. Simply head towards the waterfront, and you will spot the iconic red-brick warehouses in no time.
Public Transport (Ferry)
Another scenic option is to take the ferry. Head to the nearest ferry terminal in HafenCity, which is likely 'HafenCity Universität'. Take the ferry line 72 towards 'Finkenwerder'.
