Public Transport
From Hanover Hauptbahnhof (Central Station), take the U9 (light rail) towards Fasanenkrug. Get off at the Bothfeld stop. From there, walk east along the Bothfelder Straße for approximately 1 km. Turn right onto Vahrenwalder Straße and walk for about 500 meters. The Postmeilensäule will be visible in a small park area on your left. A single ticket for the Hanover public transport system (GVH) costs approximately €2.80.
Walking
If you are already in the Bothfeld area, head towards the intersection of Bothfelder Straße and Vahrenwalder Straße. From there, walk along Vahrenwalder Straße in the direction of the city center. After approximately 500 meters, look for a small park area on your left where the Postmeilensäule is located. The walk from the center of Bothfeld is approximately 1.5 km.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-share from Hanover Hauptbahnhof to the Historische Postmeilensäule will cost approximately €15-€20, depending on traffic. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Simply provide the destination address (30659 Hanover) to the driver.
