From any location in Harz National Park, head towards Sankt Andreasberg. If you are starting from the town of Wernigerode, take the B244 road towards the south until you reach the B242. Continue on B242 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach Oderteich. There is a parking area near the lake where you can leave your car. Please be aware that parking may incur a fee.

If you prefer public transport, take a bus from nearby towns such as Goslar or Wernigerode. Look for bus services that head towards Sankt Andreasberg. Once in Sankt Andreasberg, you can take Bus 251 towards Oderteich. The bus stop is located near the center of town, and the ride to Oderteich should take around 30 minutes.
