From any location within Harz National Park, head towards the town of Sankt Andreasberg. If you are coming from the direction of Wernigerode, follow the B244 road towards Schulenberg. Continue on the B242 until you reach the junction for Sankt Andreasberg. Follow the signs, and take the Clausthaler Str. exit. The observatory is located at Clausthaler Str. 11, 37444 St. Andreasberg. Look for parking available on the street or nearby parking lots.

If you are traveling by public transport, you can take the train to the nearest station, which is in Bad Lauterberg. From Bad Lauterberg, you can take a local bus (Bus Line 7) directly to Sankt Andreasberg. The bus stop you will want to get off at is 'Sankt Andreasberg, Clausthaler Str.' which is a short walk from the observatory. Be sure to check the local bus schedule on the day of your visit, as services may vary.
