Car
If you are driving, head towards Bacharach from your location in Hunsrück. Use the A61 motorway and take the exit towards B9. Continue on B9 until you reach Bacharach. Once in the town, follow the signs to Oberstraße. Haus Sickingen is located at Oberstraße 4, 55422 Bacharach. Parking is available nearby but may incur a small fee, typically around €2-€5 for a few hours.
Public Transportation
To reach Haus Sickingen via public transportation, take a regional train from your nearest station in Hunsrück to Bacharach. Trains run regularly, and the journey typically takes around 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at Bacharach station, exit the station and walk towards the town center. Follow the signs leading to Oberstraße, which is about a 10-minute walk from the station. Haus Sickingen is located at Oberstraße 4. Note that train tickets cost approximately €5-€10, depending on your starting point.
Walking from Bacharach Station
If you choose to walk from the Bacharach train station, exit the station and head towards the main street. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the town square. From the square, continue straight onto Oberstraße. Haus Sickingen will be on your left at number 4. The walk takes about 10 minutes and is quite scenic, allowing you to enjoy the charming atmosphere of Bacharach.
