Getting There

  • Bus

    From the central Koblenz Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take bus line 1 (Richtung: Koblenz-Stolzenfels) towards Stolzenfels. The bus ride takes about 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Stolzenfels' stop. From there, follow the signs for 'Schloss Stolzenfels' which will lead you to the castle entrance, approximately a 10-minute walk uphill.

  • Ferry

    Walk to the Moselle riverfront near the Deutsches Eck (German Corner). From there, take a ferry operated by the 'Koblenzer Personenschifffahrt' that goes to Stolzenfels. The ferry ride offers beautiful views and takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at the Stolzenfels stop, and follow the path uphill towards the castle, which should take around 15 minutes.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, start from the Deutsches Eck (German Corner) and head south along the riverbank. Follow the riverside path for approximately 2 km until you reach the entrance of the Stolzenfels area. The walk will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you reach the end of the path, follow the signs indicating the direction to the castle, as it is situated on a hill.
