Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are already in Ehrenbreitstein, head towards the riverbank where you will find the Rhine promenade. Walk along the promenade towards the south until you reach the bridge called 'Rheinbrücke'. Cross the bridge, and once you are on the other side, continue walking straight until you reach Charlottenstraße. Turn left onto Charlottenstraße, and after a short walk, you will find the Rhein-Museum e. V. Koblenz at Charlottenstraße 53A. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

  • Cable Car

    Another scenic route to the museum is to take the Koblenz cable car. Start at the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and take the cable car down towards the Rhine River. The ride will provide you with stunning views. Once you arrive at the base station, walk towards the Rhine promenade and then follow the same direction as mentioned above, heading south across the 'Rheinbrücke', then left onto Charlottenstraße to reach the museum. Note: The cable car ride has a cost of about €11 for a round trip.

  • Public Transport

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Ehrenbreitstein to Koblenz. Look for bus lines that head towards 'Koblenz Hauptbahnhof'. Once you arrive at the main train station, exit and walk towards the Rhine promenade. Follow the river south until you find the 'Rheinbrücke'. Cross the bridge, turn left onto Charlottenstraße, and the museum will be on your right at number 53A. The bus fare is approximately €2.50.
