For those using public transportation, take a train to Überlingen or Friedrichshafen. From Überlingen, you can catch a bus (lines 7396 or 7397) directly to Meersburg. The bus will drop you off at the Meersburg bus station, which is about a 15-minute walk to the castle. Alternatively, if you are arriving from Friedrichshafen, take the ferry to Meersburg, which offers a scenic route across Lake Constance. The ferry dock is located near the town center, and from there, it's a short walk uphill to the castle.
