Public Transport
If you're starting from Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), head to the nearby tram stop called 'Hauptbahnhof' and take tram line 9 in the direction of 'Leipzig Messe'. After 5 stops, get off at 'Deutsche Bücherei' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the entrance at Deutscher Pl. 1.
Walking
If you are near the city center, you can walk to Deutsche Bücherei. From the Augustusplatz, walk down Grimmaische Straße towards the river. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Deutscher Platz. Turn left onto Deutscher Platz and you will see the Deutsche Bücherei on your right.
Bus
From the city center, you can catch bus line 60 or 70 from 'Leipzig Marktplatz' bus stop. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at 'Deutsche Bücherei' stop. The library will be right in front of you at Deutscher Pl. 1.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations in Leipzig. Head towards the city center, then follow the signs to Deutscher Platz. The bike ride from Augustusplatz takes about 10 minutes.
