If you're starting from Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), head to the nearby tram stop called 'Hauptbahnhof' and take tram line 9 in the direction of 'Leipzig Messe'. After 5 stops, get off at 'Deutsche Bücherei' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the entrance at Deutscher Pl. 1.

If you are near the city center, you can walk to Deutsche Bücherei. From the Augustusplatz, walk down Grimmaische Straße towards the river. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Deutscher Platz. Turn left onto Deutscher Platz and you will see the Deutsche Bücherei on your right.

From the city center, you can catch bus line 60 or 70 from 'Leipzig Marktplatz' bus stop. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at 'Deutsche Bücherei' stop. The library will be right in front of you at Deutscher Pl. 1.
