Walking
If you are in the city center (Markt), head east on Grimmaische Straße towards the Old Market Square. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Goldschmidtstraße. Turn left onto Goldschmidtstraße and walk straight for about 5 minutes. The Mendelssohn-Haus will be on your left at Goldschmidtstraße 12.
Public Transport - Tram
From Leipzig Main Station (Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 9 towards the 'Leipzig, Torgauer Straße' stop. Get off at 'Leipzig, Augustusplatz' (4 stops). From Augustusplatz, walk north on Grimmaiche Straße until you reach Goldschmidtstraße. Turn right onto Goldschmidtstraße, and the Mendelssohn-Haus will be about a 5-minute walk down the street on your left.
Public Transport - Bus
From the central bus station (Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof), take bus line 60 towards 'Leipzig, Schkeuditz' and get off at 'Leipzig, Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz' (2 stops). Transfer to tram line 10 towards 'Leipzig, Lößnig' and get off at 'Leipzig, Augustusplatz' (3 stops). From there, walk north on Grimmaische Straße, turn right onto Goldschmidtstraße, and you will find the Mendelssohn-Haus on your left after a 5-minute walk.
