Getting There

  • Tram

    If you are near the central station (Hauptbahnhof), take Tram Line 9 towards 'Leutzsch' or Tram Line 10 towards 'Naunhofer Straße'. Get off at the 'Augustusplatz' stop. From there, walk towards Katharinenstraße. You will see the museum a short distance ahead on your left.

  • Bus

    Find the nearest bus stop and take Bus Line 60 or 70 towards 'Brehna' or 'Gutenbergplatz'. Get off at 'Leipzig, Augustusplatz' and walk towards Katharinenstraße. The museum will be on your left, just a few minutes away.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the city center, simply walk to Katharinenstraße. From the city center square (Markt), head towards the east on Grimmaische Strasse, then turn left onto Katharinenstraße. The Leipzig Museum of Fine Arts will be on your right at number 10.

  • Bicycle

    If you have rented a bike, head east from the city center towards the 'Augustusplatz'. Continue straight onto Katharinenstraße. The museum is located at number 10 on your left-hand side. There are bicycle racks available nearby.
