Public Transport
If you are near the Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), take tram line 4 or 7 from the station. Get off at the stop 'Markt'. From there, you can follow the signs to Marktplatz, which is just a short walk away. The square will be directly in front of you as you exit the tram.
Walking
If you are in the city center, you can easily walk to Marktplatz. Start from the Thomaskirche (St. Thomas Church), head south towards the main square. Walk straight along the Thomaskirchhof, then turn left onto Marktstraße. Continue until you reach the vibrant Marktplatz, located at Markt 1A.

Take bus line 60 or 70 to the 'Markt' stop. The bus runs frequently from various parts of the city. Once you get off, Marktplatz will be right in front of you.
