Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), exit the station and head towards the east towards Willy-Brandt-Platz. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Petersstraße. Turn right onto Petersstraße and walk for another 300 meters. You will see the Marktplatz Leipzig on your left, with the impressive Old Town Hall and the market square right in front of you.

    From Leipzig Hauptbahnhof, take the tram line 9 or 11 towards 'Plagwitz' or 'Lützschena'. Get off at the stop 'Markt'.
