Public Transport (Tram)
If you are at Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (Central Station), head to the tram stop located just outside the main entrance. Take tram line 9 or 11 towards the direction of 'Leipzig, Markkleeberg' or 'Leipzig, Anger-Crottendorf'. Get off at the 'Augustusplatz' stop. From there, walk straight onto Grimmaische Straße. Continue straight until you reach Kurt-Masur-Platz. Moritzbastei will be on your left.
Walking
If you are near the city center, you can easily walk to Moritzbastei. From the city center, head towards the University of Leipzig. Once you reach the university, you will see Kurt-Masur-Platz ahead. Moritzbastei is located at Kurt-Masur-Platz 1. It is a short walk and should take about 10-15 minutes depending on your starting point.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you are at the Leipzig Zoo, you can take bus line 70 towards 'Leipzig, Plagwitz' and get off at the 'Augustusplatz' stop. From there, walk straight onto Grimmaische Straße and continue until you reach Kurt-Masur-Platz. Moritzbastei will be on your left.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from the city center. Head towards the University of Leipzig, then follow the bike paths to Kurt-Masur-Platz. Moritzbastei is located directly at the square and has bike racks available.
