Public Transport
If you are starting from Leipzig Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 4 or 7 towards 'Leipzig, Lausen' or 'Leipzig, Gohlis' respectively. Get off at the stop 'Markt', which is about a 15-minute ride. From the tram stop, walk towards the north along Grimmaische Straße, which will lead you directly to Burgplatz. The Rathausbrunnen is located in front of the Stadthaus at Burgplatz 1.

If you are in the city center near the Nikolai Church (Nikolaikirche), you can walk to Rathausbrunnen. Head west on Nikolaikirchhof, then turn left onto Katharinenstraße. Continue straight until you reach Markt, and then walk towards Burgplatz. The Rathausbrunnen is located at Burgplatz 1, right in front of the Stadthaus.
Bus
From the Augustusplatz, take bus line 89 towards 'Leipzig, Mölkau' and get off at the stop 'Burgplatz'. The Rathausbrunnen is just a short walk from the bus stop. Head east towards the Stadthaus, and you'll find the fountain directly in front of the building.
