Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head east on Willy-Brandt-Platz. Continue straight onto the street called 'Königsstraße' for about 1 kilometer. You'll pass through several shops and cafés. As you reach the end of Königsstraße, turn right onto 'Burgstraße.' Continue walking until you reach 'Burgplatz,' where you will see the Rathausbrunnen located in front of the Stadthaus at Burgpl. 1.

  • Tram

    From the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), board tram line 10 or 11 heading towards 'Leipzig, Messe.' Get off at the 'Markt' stop which is about 4 stops away. Once you disembark, walk towards the historic market square, and the Rathausbrunnen is just a short walk from there, located at Burgpl. 1, in front of the Stadthaus.

  • Bus

    If you prefer to take a bus, from the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), catch bus line 89. After about 5 stops, get off at 'Markt' bus stop. From there, walk towards the Markt square, and you will find the Rathausbrunnen in front of the Stadthaus at Burgpl. 1.
