Getting There

  • Car

    From Lüneburg Heath, get on B209 towards Hamburg. Follow B209 for approximately 20 km until you reach the A39 junction. Merge onto A39 heading towards Hamburg. After about 25 km, take the exit towards B4/Osnabrück/Hamburg-Centrum. Continue on B4 for around 5 km. Keep left to stay on B4, following signs for Speicherstadt. After approximately 3 km, turn left onto Alter Wandrahm. Speicherstadt will be on your right at Alter Wandrahm 4, 20457 Hamburg. Note that there may be parking fees in the area, so be prepared for potential costs.

    Start at the nearest train station in Lüneburg Heath. Take a train to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (main station). The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. From Hamburg Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and follow the signs to the U-Bahn (subway). Take the U3 line towards Barmbek and get off at the Baumwall station. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to Speicherstadt. Head east on Bei den Mühren, then turn left onto Alter Wandrahm. Speicherstadt will be at Alter Wandrahm 4, 20457 Hamburg.
