Walking
From Monschau's Marktplatz (town square), head west on Klosterstraße, then turn right onto Langenbergstraße. This becomes Langer Pfad. Continue for approximately 2.5 kilometers. The walk is uphill and takes about 30 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views, but wear comfortable shoes. No costs involved.
Public Transport
From the Monschau bus station, take a local bus heading towards the outskirts of Monschau. The bus stop you need is called 'Panoramaweg'. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. A single ticket costs around €2-€3, purchased at kiosks or via mobile apps. From the 'Panoramaweg' bus stop, it's a short walk to the trail entrance.
Driving
From the center of Monschau, head northwest on Langenbergstraße toward Kölner Straße/B399. Continue straight onto B399, then turn left onto Langer Pfad. Follow the road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Panoramaweg parking area. Parking fees typically range from €2-€5 for a few hours. Alternatively, park at Parkplatz Aukloster (Austraße 10, 52156 Monschau) in the town center (€2 per hour, €7 daily) and walk to the trail.
