Car
If you're traveling by car from any location in Moselle, head towards the A1 motorway. Follow signs for Trier/Bitburg. Merge onto A1 and continue for approximately 30 kilometers. Take exit 15 towards Schengen and continue on the B419. Follow the signs for Schengen. After entering Schengen, follow Hemmeberreg street. The destination at 9 Hemmeberreg, 5444 Schengen will be on your right. There is free parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Schengen via public transportation, find the nearest train station in Moselle. Take a train towards Trier. Upon arriving at Trier train station, transfer to bus line 11 towards Schengen. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Schengen' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to 9 Hemmeberreg, 5444 Schengen. The bus fare is around €2.50, and the train fare varies depending on your starting point but expect around €5-€10.
Bicycle
For a more adventurous route, consider cycling to Schengen. From any location in Moselle, follow the Moselle River cycling path. This scenic route will take you through vineyards and charming villages. Depending on your starting point, the ride could take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours. Ensure you have a bike lock and plan for breaks along the way. No additional costs are incurred other than possible bike rental fees if you do not have your own.
