Tram
From central Haidhausen, head to the nearest tram stop, which is 'Haidhausen (Bahn)'. Take tram line 19 in the direction of 'Pasing'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Isartor'. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the east along 'Isartorplatz' for about 5 minutes until you reach the riverbank. Cross the bridge 'Drebrücke', and then turn left. Continue straight for another 10 minutes until you reach 'Museumsinsel 1', where the Deutsches Museum is located.
Bus
From Haidhausen, locate the nearest bus stop labeled 'Haidhausen (Bahn)'. Board bus line 54 towards 'Sendlinger Tor'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Ludwigstraße' stop. From there, walk towards the south along 'Ludwigstraße' for about 10 minutes. You'll see the river on your right. Once you reach the riverbank, turn left and walk along the river for about 5-10 minutes until you arrive at 'Museumsinsel 1', the home of the Deutsches Museum.
Walking
If you're close to the center of Haidhausen, you can walk directly to the Deutsches Museum. Head south towards the river. Once you reach the riverbank, turn left and follow the river for about 15-20 minutes. You will see the museum on the right as you approach 'Museumsinsel 1'. It's a pleasant walk with beautiful views of the Isar River.
