Getting There

    From the center of Maxvorstadt, head towards Barer Str. You can start from the intersection of Türkenstraße and Barer Str. Walk north along Barer Str. for about 700 meters. The Alte Pinakothek will be on your left at Barer Str. 27, 80333 München. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you are near the 'Karlsplatz (Stachus)' tram stop, take tram line 27 or 28 towards 'Petuelring'. Get off at the 'Alte Pinakothek' stop, which is only one stop away. From the tram stop, walk a short distance east to reach the museum entrance at Barer Str. 27. The tram ticket costs €2.90 for a single journey.
