Car
If you are driving, navigate to Flensburg using the A7 motorway. Take the exit towards Flensburg and follow the B199 road directly into the city. Once you reach Flensburg, follow the signs to the city center (Altstadt). When you reach the Schiffbrücke, look for parking options nearby; there are several public parking lots in the area. The Flensburger Schifffahrtsmuseum is located at Schiffbrücke 39, just a short walk from the parking areas.
Train and Walk
If you are using public transportation, take a train to Flensburg Hauptbahnhof (main station). Depending on your starting location in North Frisia, you may need to transfer trains. From Flensburg Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and head to the bus stop located outside. Take bus line 1 or 2 towards 'Zentrum' and get off at the 'Schiffbrücke' stop. The museum is a short walk from there. Follow the signs towards the waterfront, and you will find the Flensburger Schifffahrtsmuseum at Schiffbrücke 39.
Bus
For those already in North Frisia, you can also use regional bus services to Flensburg. Check the local bus schedules for routes that connect to Flensburg. Many services will drop you off at the central bus station. From there, either take a short bus ride on lines 1 or 2 or simply walk to the museum, which is about a 15-minute walk away from the bus station towards the waterfront at Schiffbrücke 39.
