    If you are starting from Nuremberg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the main street, Bahnhofstraße. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Karolinenstraße. Turn left onto Karolinenstraße and continue walking until you reach the Hauptmarkt square. From Hauptmarkt, head towards the beautiful Frauenkirche. Once at the Frauenkirche, continue walking straight until you reach the end of the square. You will see the signs for the path leading to the Heathen Tower. Follow the signs along the wall of the Old Town. The Heathen Tower is located in the area of the old city wall, and you will see it along the path after approximately 15 minutes of walking.

    From Nuremberg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), take the U-Bahn (subway) line U1 towards Langwasser Süd. Get off at the station 'Plärrer' after two stops. At Plärrer, transfer to tram line 8 towards Gärten hinter der Veste. Ride the tram for four stops and get off at 'Mahnmal'. From there, head towards the city wall and follow the signs to the Heathen Tower, which is about a 10-minute walk from the tram stop.
