Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head northeast on Bahnhofstraße. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Königstraße. Turn left onto Königstraße and walk for about 10 minutes. After you reach the prominent Lorenzkirche (St. Lawrence Church), continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Langen Gasse. Turn right onto Langen Gasse, and then take the first left onto Laufertormauer. You will find Laufertormauer on your left side.

    From Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 8 in the direction of 'Glockenhof'. Get off at the 'Bärenschanzstraße' stop. From there, walk back towards the intersection and turn left onto Bärenschanzstraße. Continue straight until you see Laufertormauer on your right. The walk should take about 5 minutes.
