Getting There

    If you are near the Nuremberg Castle, head southeast on Burggarten towards Kettenstraße. Turn left onto Kettenstraße and continue until you reach the intersection with Königstraße. Turn right onto Königstraße and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes. After crossing the intersection with Maxstraße, continue straight until you reach Maxplatz. The square will be on your right.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From Nuremberg Main Station (Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 8 towards 'Ziegelstein'. Get off at the 'Jakobsplatz' stop, which is about 5 stops away. Once you get off, walk towards the southeast on Jakobsplatz. You will see signs pointing towards Maxplatz. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Maxplatz.

  • Public Transport - U-Bahn

    From Nuremberg Main Station (Hauptbahnhof), take the U-Bahn line U1 towards 'Langwasser Süd'. Get off at 'Plärrer' (2 stops). At Plärrer, transfer to U-Bahn line U2 towards 'Röthenbach'. Get off at 'Hauptmarkt' (1 stop). From Hauptmarkt, walk west on Rathausplatz, then turn left onto Maxstraße. Continue for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Maxplatz.
