Walking
If you're starting from Nuremberg's central train station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the main square, called Hauptmarkt. From there, walk north towards the historic Altstadt (Old Town). You will pass the beautiful Frauenkirche. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Bärenschanzstraße. Take a left onto Bärenschanzstraße and walk until you see Frauentor on your left-hand side. It should take about 15 minutes to walk.

From Nuremberg's central train station, take tram line 4 or 6 from the stop 'Hauptbahnhof' towards 'Tullnaupark' or 'Röthenbach'. Get off at the stop 'Wöhrder Wiese'. From there, walk towards the river (Wöhrder Wiese park) and head towards the Frauentor, which should be visible as you approach the historic wall. This journey typically takes about 10 minutes for the tram ride plus another 5 minutes walking.
