Walking
If you are starting from Nuremberg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards Bahnhofstraße. Continue walking straight until you reach the Lorenzkirche (St. Lawrence Church). From Lorenzkirche, turn right onto Königstraße and continue walking until you reach the Hauptmarkt, the central square. In the Hauptmarkt, you will see the beautiful Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) on your left. Continue straight past the church, and you will see the Rathaus (City Hall) in front of you. The Medieval Dungeons are located directly at Rathausplatz 2, which is next to the Rathaus. The entrance to the dungeons can be found at the back of the building.

Start your journey at any tram or bus stop in Nuremberg. Take the U-Bahn (subway) line U1 towards 'Richtung Langwasser Süd'. Get off at the 'Plärrer' station. From Plärrer, transfer to tram line 8 towards 'Gostenhof'. Ride for two stops and get off at 'Hauptmarkt'. From the Hauptmarkt, head east towards the Rathaus. The Medieval Dungeons are located at Rathausplatz 2, right next to the City Hall. Look for the entrance at the back of the Rathaus.
