Car
If you are driving from any location in the Ore Mountains, head towards Chemnitz on the B169. From Chemnitz, take the A4 motorway towards Dresden. Exit at 'Hainichen' and follow the signs for B175 towards Kriebstein. Continue on the B175 for about 10 kilometers until you reach Kriebstein. The castle is located at Kriebsteiner Str. 7, 09648 Kriebstein. There is parking available near the castle, but be aware of potential parking fees.
Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take a train to Chemnitz. From Chemnitz, take bus number 731 towards 'Kriebstein'. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Kriebstein, Schloss', which is a short walk from the castle entrance. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary throughout the week.
Walking
Once you arrive at the bus stop 'Kriebstein, Schloss', you will need to walk approximately 800 meters to reach Kriebstein Castle. Follow the signs leading to the castle, which is located on a hill overlooking the Zschopau River. The walk is scenic and takes about 10-15 minutes.
