If you're traveling by car, set your GPS to Damaschkestraße 1, 08280 Aue-Bad Schlema. From the center of Aue, head northeast on B169 and take the exit toward Aue-Bad Schlema. Follow the signs for the Zoo, which is located on Damaschkestraße. Parking is available at the zoo, and there may be a parking fee of around €2.

From Aue station, you can catch bus line 233 toward Bad Schlema, and disembark at the 'Damaschkestraße' stop, which is a short walk from the zoo entrance. If you prefer to walk from Aue station to the Zoo of Minis, it's about a 30-minute stroll. Exit the train station and head southeast on Bahnhofstraße. Continue onto Damaschkestraße, and follow it until you reach the zoo. This route is mostly flat and is a pleasant walk through the town.
