If you are driving, head towards Dahn in the Palatinate region. Use the A65 autobahn and exit at Dahn. Follow the signs to Grafendahn-Tanstein-Altdahn, which will lead you through the town of Dahn. After entering the town, navigate to the main road and follow the signs indicating Burg Altdahn. There is a parking area near the castle where you can leave your car. Note that there may be a small parking fee, so keep some change handy.
Public Transportation
To reach Altdahn Castle using public transportation, first take a train to Dahn. From major cities like Karlsruhe or Landau, you can catch a regional train (S-Bahn or RE train) that stops in Dahn.
