Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Breest from any major city in Pomerania. From the A20 Autobahn, take the exit towards Anklam/Breest (Exit 33) and follow the B109 towards Breest. Upon entering the village, look for signs directing you to Burg Klempenow. The castle is located approximately 5 km from the B109. Make sure to park in the designated parking area near the castle.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Burg Klempenow via public transportation, take a train to the nearest major train station, which is Neubrandenbrug. From there, catch a regional bus towards Breest (Bus Line 230). The bus will take you directly to Breest, where you can then walk the remaining 1 km to Burg Klempenow. Be sure to check the local bus schedules as they may vary, and a ticket for the bus will cost approximately €2-3.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, cycling is a great option. Rent a bicycle in one of the nearby cities and follow the scenic routes towards Breest. There are bike paths available, and upon reaching Breest, you can easily find your way to Burg Klempenow. It’s about a 5 km ride from the village center. Ensure to wear a helmet and check your bike for any repairs before setting out.

• Walking

  If you're already in Breest, walking to Burg Klempenow is quite enjoyable. From the village center, head northeast on Dorfstraße, which will lead you to the castle in about 15-20 minutes. Follow the signs and enjoy the beautiful countryside views along the way.
