Public Transport
From Potsdam, head to the Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main train station). You can take tram line 91 towards 'U Potsdam Hauptbahnhof' or bus lines 606, 608. Once you arrive at Potsdam Hauptbahnhof, follow the signs to the S-Bahn (S-train) platforms. Take the S7 train towards 'S Berlin–Hauptbahnhof'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at 'S+U Schönhauser Allee'. From there, transfer to the U2 subway towards 'U Pankow'. After two stops, get off at 'U Eberswalder Straße'. Finally, exit the station and walk for about 10 minutes south on Eberswalder Straße, then turn left onto Trachtenbrodtstraße. Alternative Berlin Tours will be on your right at number 32.

If you are already near the center of Potsdam, you can walk to the Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. Once there, take a train as previously described. However, if you're looking for a direct walking option, it is not feasible as the distance to Berlin is quite far (approximately 35 km). It's recommended to take public transport for the best experience.

For those who are adventurous and have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Potsdam to Berlin. Start from the city center and follow the bicycle paths towards Berlin. It will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Berlin, follow signs to Pankow, making your way to Trachtenbrodtstraße. Keep in mind that navigating through Berlin can be tricky, so using a map or GPS is recommended.
