Public Transport
From Potsdam, take the S-Bahn (S7 line) from Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main station) towards Berlin. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at Berlin Alexanderplatz station. From Alexanderplatz, transfer to the U-Bahn (U2 line) towards Pankow. Get off at the next stop, which is Berlin Stadtmitte. Exit the station and walk approximately 10 minutes to reach Poststraße 23. The museum will be on your left.
Walking
If you are near the center of Potsdam, you can walk to the nearest tram stop, which is Potsdam, Luisenplatz. From there, take tram number 91 to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. Change to the S-Bahn (S7 line) as mentioned above, or alternatively, if you prefer to walk, it’s about a 45-minute walk to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof and then follow the S-Bahn instructions.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle in Potsdam and ride towards Berlin. Follow the path along the river Havel, which is scenic and leads you towards Berlin. It will take around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your speed. Once you reach Berlin, head towards Mitte borough, and navigate to Poststraße 23, which is located close to the historical center.
