Getting There

  • U-Bahn (Subway)

    If you are starting from the Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Central Station), take the U-Bahn line U5 from Hauptbahnhof towards Hönow. Travel for 3 stops and get off at 'Alexanderplatz'. At Alexanderplatz, transfer to the U-Bahn line U8 towards Wittenau. Travel for 2 stops and get off at 'Heinrich-Heine-Straße'. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to Klosterstraße 47, where Old City Hall is located. Exit the station, head towards the east on Heinrich-Heine-Straße, then take a left onto Klosterstraße. The Old City Hall will be on your right.

    From the 'Alexanderplatz' square, take tram line M4 towards 'Zingster Straße'. Get off at the 'Spittelmarkt' stop. From Spittelmarkt, it’s a short 5-minute walk. Head south on Spittelmarkt, and take a left onto Klosterstraße. Continue walking until you reach Klosterstraße 47, which is the location of the Old City Hall.
