The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Rostock Zoo'. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of the zoo, which is located at Barnstorfer Ring 1.

If you are close to the city center, you can walk to Rostock Zoo. Start at the Kröpeliner Tor, and head south on Kröpeliner Straße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Barnstorfer Ring. Turn right on Barnstorfer Ring and walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will find the zoo entrance on your left at Barnstorfer Ring 1.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental stations in Rostock. Start from the city center and head towards the Baltic Sea on the bike paths. Follow the signs towards Barnstorfer Ring, and you will arrive at Rostock Zoo in about 10-20 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
