From Rostock Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 1 towards 'Lütten Klein' or tram line 5 towards 'Dierkow'. Travel for approximately 10 minutes and get off at the 'Schmarl Dorf' stop. From there, walk east for about 500 meters along 'Schmarl Dorf' street until you reach the Shipbuilding and Maritime Museum located at Schmarl Dorf 40. The museum will be on your right.

If you are in the city center, head east towards the 'Kaiserstraße' and follow it until you reach 'Lange Straße'. Continue straight as it becomes 'Am Alten Strom'. Walk for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with 'Schmarl Dorf'. Turn left onto 'Schmarl Dorf' street and continue for another 700 meters to find the museum at number 40 on your left.

For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental services in the city center. Take 'Lange Straße' towards the east, then continue along 'Am Alten Strom'. After about 2 kilometers, turn left onto 'Schmarl Dorf' street and cycle for another 700 meters. The Shipbuilding and Maritime Museum will be on your left at Schmarl Dorf 40.
