Train
From Rostock Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the S-Bahn (S1) towards Warnemünde. The train departs regularly, approximately every 20 minutes. The journey takes about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Warnemünde station, exit the station and head towards the beach.
Walking
After exiting Warnemünde station, walk straight towards the beach area. You will see signs directing you to the promenade. Continue walking along the promenade, and you will eventually reach the Warnemünde lighthouse (Am Leuchtturm, 18119 Rostock). The lighthouse is located right at the beach, and you can’t miss it as it stands tall against the coastal backdrop.

Alternatively, from Rostock city center, you can take bus line 36 towards Warnemünde. The bus stops are near major attractions, such as the Rostock Town Hall. The bus ride takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Warnemünde, Leuchtturm' stop, the lighthouse will be a short walk away. Follow the signs leading to the beach.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Rostock and follow the bike lane towards Warnemünde. The route is scenic and takes approximately 40 minutes, depending on your cycling speed. Simply follow the signs for Warnemünde, and you will arrive at the lighthouse without any hassle.
