If you are traveling by car, set your GPS to Universitätsstraße 160, 44801 Bochum. From the center of Bochum, head south on Universitätsstraße. The Chinesischer Garten will be on your right-hand side. There is parking available nearby, but please check for any parking fees that may apply.

To reach Chinesischer Garten via public transportation, take the U35 tram towards 'Hustadt' from Bochum Hauptbahnhof (main station). Get off at the stop 'Ruhr-Universität' (about a 15-minute ride). From the tram stop, walk south on Universitätsstraße for about 5 minutes. The Chinesischer Garten will be on your right. Make sure to purchase a ticket for the tram before boarding, which costs approximately €2.80 for a single journey.
