Car
If you're driving from the center of Dortmund, take B1 (B1/B54) heading towards Bochum. Continue on B1 for about 7 km. Take the exit towards A45, then merge onto A45. After approximately 5 km, take exit 9 towards Huckarde and merge onto B236. Follow B236 for about 3 km, then turn right onto Am Deusenberg. Follow this road, and you will reach Deusenberg at 44369 Dortmund. Note that parking is available near the observation deck.
Public Transportation
To reach Deusenberg by public transport, start at Dortmund Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Take the U47 tram towards 'Huckarde' and get off at 'Huckarde Bahnhof' after about 20 minutes. From Huckarde Bahnhof, transfer to bus line 460 towards 'Dortmund Deusenberg'. This bus will take you directly to the stop 'Deusenberg', which is a short walk from the observation deck. The total travel time is approximately 40 minutes. A single ticket costs around €3.00.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Dortmund and follow the signposted cycling routes towards Huckarde. The ride is approximately 10 km and should take around 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Huckarde, follow the local signs directing you to Deusenberg. This option is not only cost-effective but also allows you to enjoy the scenic views along the way.
