If you are driving, start from the center of Essen. Take the A40 motorway and exit at 'Essen-Frintrop'. Follow the signs for Frintrop, then turn onto Mülheimer Str. After about 2 km, turn right onto Eickener Str. Continue straight until you reach Gleispark Frintrop. There is parking available nearby, but check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach Gleispark Frintrop via public transportation, start at Essen Central Station (Essen Hbf). Take the S6 or S9 train towards Mülheim. Get off at the 'Mülheim (Ruhr) Hauptbahnhof' station. From there, transfer to bus line 146 towards 'Frintrop'. Get off at the 'Gleispark' stop, and you will find the park just a short walk away. A single ticket will cost you around €2.80.
Walking
If you are staying in the Frintrop area, you can walk to Gleispark. Simply head towards Eickener Str and follow local signs directing you to the park. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the Frintrop center. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the scenery along the way.
