If you're driving from central Ruhr, enter the A40 motorway and head towards Duisburg. Take the exit towards Duisburg-Mitte (Exit 15). Follow the signs for Duisburg and merge onto the B1. Continue straight on B1 for approximately 5 km. Follow the signs towards the 'Ruhrmündung' which is located on the north bank of the river. Parking options are available nearby, but check for any parking fees which can range from €1 to €2 per hour.

To reach Ruhrmündung via public transportation, first find the nearest U-Bahn or S-Bahn station in Ruhr. Take the S1 train towards Düsseldorf or the U11 tram towards Duisburg.
