Great experience, great trip - hire Anselm!
Anselm is the best! Friendly, punctual, and very knowledgeable. Apart from our scheduled tour, he arrived early so we could have time shopping for cuckoo clocks in the Black Forest region. As a major bonus, he also was instrumental in driving a single piece of lost luggage hours of his way so we didn't have to use a shipper to get the suitcase back home after it was forgotten at a hotel. He made our trip a happy one.

Bayreuth Self-Guided City Walking Tour & Scavenger Hunt
Great tour!
After our rather not-so-good experiences with the city tour in Nuremberg, we were pleasantly surprised here in Bayreuth. Our guide (long-term student type - not meant negatively!!!) not only had sound knowledge, but was also able to convey it excellently. Peppered with his little anecdotes and riddles, we wandered through the old town of Bayreuth, learned a lot about the many Friedrichs and the Wagner family, and it never got boring. The tour ended after two hours and we would have loved to walk with him for another hour.
