Getting There

  • Public Transport - U-Bahn

    From Stuttgart main train station (Hauptbahnhof), take the U-Bahn line U5 in the direction of Leinfelden. Get off at the stop 'Schlossplatz'. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Schlossplatz, which is a large public square. The Neues Schloss will be directly ahead of you, located at Schloßpl. 4.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From Stuttgart main train station (Hauptbahnhof), you can also take tram line 15 or 16. Board the tram heading towards 'Böblingen' (for tram 15) or 'Zuffenhausen' (for tram 16). Get off at 'Schlossplatz' stop. After alighting, walk towards the large square, and you will see the Neues Schloss right in front of you at Schloßpl. 4.

    If you are near the city center, you can walk to Neues Schloss. From the main shopping street (Königstraße), head towards the large square of Schlossplatz. The Neues Schloss is located at Schloßpl. 4, right at the end of the square, so just follow the signs pointing towards the castle.

    Take bus line 42 or 44 from any nearby bus stop in Stuttgart that connects to the city center. Get off at the 'Schlossplatz' bus stop. Once you get off, walk towards the square and you will find the Neues Schloss at Schloßpl. 4, clearly visible from the square.
