    If you are starting from Stuttgart Main Station (Hauptbahnhof), take the U-Bahn line U5 or U6 towards 'Leinfelden' or 'Filderstadt'. Ride for two stops and get off at 'Schlossplatz'. From the exit, walk towards the large square where the New Palace (Neues Schloss) is located. The Old Castle (Altes Schloss) is just a short walk away, located at Schillerplatz 6, to the right of the square.
