Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, navigate to Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz. From the A3 Autobahn, take the exit toward Neumarkt and merge onto the B299. Follow the B299 until you reach Weiherstraße. Turn onto Weiherstraße and continue until you arrive at Weiherstraße 7A, where Museum Lothar Fischer is located. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that some areas may require a parking fee.

• Train

  For those using public transportation, take a train to Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz. The regional trains from major cities like Nuremberg or Regensburg frequently service this route. Once you arrive at Neumarkt train station, exit and head toward Bahnhofstraße. You can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take a local bus (bus number 601) towards Weiherstraße. The bus ride will take about 5-10 minutes, and a ticket costs around €2.50. Get off at the Weiherstraße stop, and the museum will be a short walk from there.

  If you are already in Neumarkt, you can use the local bus services. Bus lines 604 and 605 connect various parts of the city to the museum. Board either bus at the nearest bus stop to your location and disembark at the Weiherstraße stop. The bus fare is approximately €1.50.
