Car
If you're traveling by car within Aburi, start by heading towards the Aburi Botanical Gardens. From the entrance of the gardens, continue on the main road (Aburi Road) towards the Kwasi Doi area. After approximately 1.5 km, look for a sign indicating the Aburi Eco hiking trail on your left. Turn left at the RPMV+X5 coordinates and follow the dirt road to the trailhead. There may be a small parking area available.
Public Transportation
To reach the Aburi Eco hiking trail via public transportation, find a trotro (minibus) heading towards Aburi. Get off at the central Aburi market. From there, take a short walk towards the Aburi Botanical Gardens. Once you reach the gardens, ask locals for directions to the hiking trail or look for signs. The trail is about 1.5 km from the gardens; follow the main road (Aburi Road) until you see the sign for the hiking trail on your left.
Walking
If you are already in Aburi and prefer walking, you can start from the Aburi Botanical Gardens. Head out of the gardens and walk along the main road (Aburi Road) for about 1.5 km. Keep an eye out for signage leading to the Aburi Eco hiking trail on your left. The walking path is straightforward, but be cautious of vehicles on the road.
