Walking
If you are in central Accra, start at the popular Kwame Nkrumah Circle. From the circle, head southeast on the George Bush Highway. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the University of Ghana. Turn right onto the road leading to the university. After about 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for Legon Botanical Gardens on your left. Enter the gardens and follow the path to the playground area.

From central Accra, head to the nearest trotro station. Look for a trotro heading towards 'Legon' or 'Madina'. Once on the trotro, inform the driver or conductor that you want to get off at Legon Botanical Gardens. The ride should take approximately 30 minutes. After disembarking, walk towards the entrance of the gardens, which will be a short 5-minute walk from the trotro stop.

You can also take a taxi from your location in Accra. Simply tell the taxi driver to take you to Legon Botanical Gardens. It is advisable to agree on a fare before starting your journey. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will be dropped off at the entrance of the gardens.
